Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, Kent, Greater London. The actress is well-known for playing roles in films including Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, along with a host of other which include 'Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace was Gravesend located in Greater London. She began her career after attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and her debut in film by playing a part in the film comedy "St Trinian's'. After that, she appeared in "Quantum of Solace" in the James Bond spy thriller. The film was commercially successful, but received mostly average reviews. Later, she played the lead female role in the fantasy action film "Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time". In the past, she was an important role in the French film 'Orphan'. Arterton's career has seen her selected for awards in a variety of categories. The award she received was the highly coveted Empire Award for best newcomer' for Quantum of Solace and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for her part of Made in Dagenham.
